SDS is hiring on-call/as-needed support personnel for data collection and test analysts for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) contract.
Work will often times be conducted in airport baggage handling and security checkpoint environments across various airports in the US.
Data collection tasks may include but are not limited to; manual data collection using the latest mobile handheld technologies, test security equipment against the latest threats facing homeland security, downloading data stored on security equipment, conducting operator interviews, timing of processes/procedures, performing maintenance on certain types of equipment, and evaluating vendor/contractor-provided training.
Frequent travel required, trip duration can last up to 2 months at a time.
The position requires as many as 8 hours a day of standing/walking and occasional lifting of passenger bags.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Candidate must be born in the US and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Candidate must be flexible as schedules are very fluid and can change on a moment’s notice.
